A new oval handmade lampshade suitable for a lamp base, made by us in our studio in York, UK.

William Morris Snakeshead from the craftsman collection. Designed in 1876 and originally block printed on cotton. Now printed on a linen union in the Claret and Gold colour way. The design takes its name from the nodding snakeshead fritillary blooms.

Perfectly finished with a wine trim and lined inside with a matt, cream parchment for a soft ambient light.

This oval shade is cleverly designed to make the most of your space - a perfect alternative to a coolie or drum shade.

Price is per single lampshade.

It is made by hand with care using a more traditional six step process as I do not use the rolled edge method found in most lampshade making kits, giving a more refined finish. The products comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
