A handmade medium oval lampshade suitable for a lamp base, made by us in our studio in York, UK.

William Morris "Snakeshead" in Indigo and Hemp. The design takes its name from the nodding snakeshead fritillary blooms that compliment the larger, more formal motifs. The dramatic flame like motif and alternating spiky clusters of foliage seem held in suspension by the delicate scrolling tendrils that form the background.

Perfectly finished with a dark navy trim and lined inside with a matt, cream parchment for a soft ambient light.

This oval shade is cleverly designed to make the most of your space - a perfect alternative to a coolie or drum shade.

Price is per single lampshade.

It is made by hand with care using a more traditional six step process as I do not use the rolled edge method found in most lampshade making kits, giving a more refined finish. The products comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
